I’m really sad that EclipseCon Europe has already finished, it has been a wonderful edition with lots of very interesting presentations!

My favourite ones were:

• Getting started with Eclipse 4 Application Development – Tutorial: The new e4 platform looks really promising and this tutorial showed most of its new interesting features,
• All the presentations related to Xtext/Xtend/Xbase… OK, I might repeat myself, but I’m still impressed by what you can do with these wonderful frameworks!
• Jnario – BDD for Java: this testing framework looks really appealing and with lots of cool stuff, I look forward to “testing” it 🙂
• Beware: Testing RCP Applications in Tycho can cause Serious Harm to your Brain
  it was really impressive to see how many problems you get when building (and testing… or… attempting to test) with Tycho… and I still wonder why so many people push the Maven way… for the moment I stay with Bucky 😉

And last but not least… “be nice to nerds…” 🙂
